Application Info

 Deadlines
Applications are due at least 8 weeks before your desired program start date. We may be able to accommodate late applications, but they will be considered on a case-by-case basis, especially during the summer months.

How does the application process work?

To apply you must fill out the China ESL application forms that are available on our "Apply Online" & "Document Downloads" page. You then should gather all of the materials that are necessary for completing the application process. Once all of your materials are in, a China ESL representative will interview you through phone. After your interview, all of your documents will be sent to the Chinese government for final review. Please note that we cannot submit your application for final review until your documents are 100% complete.

Application Process

Our application process typically takes two or three weeks, but can be speeded up if there is a need for that.

  (1) Complete the full Application Form:
Complete the application form online. After receiving this we will assess your suitability and place you on our programs. Official confirmation documents will be sent to you by mail or post.

 (2) Program Fee:

The program fee should be paid to us by due date, or upon arrival check-in.

(3) Communication:
We encourage you to keep in touch and we are happy to answer all of your questions.

Once you have made your travelling arrangements you should mail your time of arrival and the means of transportation and we will confirm your pick-up details.

Cost does not include: passport costs, international flights, in-country domestic flights (if required), extra activities on tour (available through Optional Activity Package).

Qualification

At least a High School Certificate.

Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
NO teaching experience required.
NO knowledge of the local language is necessary
